Episode 8: “Serpico”, “Batman: Year One”

One righteous man stands above it all, saving a city that neither wants him nor deserves him. That’s right, we’re talking about Frank Serpico. And Bruce Wayne/Batman and Jim Gordon, too. This episode is all about how Sidney Lumet’s 1973 crime drama Serpico and Frank Miller’s 1987 Batman: Year One run influenced Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins.
