Inflatable Moon Modules

Sierra Nevada was one of five companies selected in January 2018 to make prototypes of astronaut living quarters for a planned moon-orbiting space station, known as the Lunar Orbital Platform-Gateway. The company opted to make the habitat inflatable so that it could fit on a normal, heavy lift rocket but expand to provide astronauts as much space as possible.
