Funky House 2010: The Final Edition: Disco and House Selections

Funky House, Disco and House converge on The Final Edition (2010), a mixed set designed for peak-time listening and vocal-driven dancefloors. This 79-minute compilation stitches extended vocal disco edits and contemporary club remixes into a single flowing mix meant to showcase both classic voices and modern producers. Highlights include Syke ’n’ Sugarstarr & Alexandra Prince’s Extended Vocal Disco take, Groove Junkies & Joi Cardwell’s soulful Classic Vox, and Maurice Joshua’s club-ready rework of Ralphi Rosario’s “C’mon Get Funky.” The release also digs into Full Intention’s revival of First Choice and Manuel De La Mare & Marshall’s remix of Federico Scavo’s “Let’s All Chant,” while vocal turns from LaTasha Jordan, Joy Malcolm, Lonnie Gordon, Rosie Gaines, and Estelle keep the set rooted in songcraft. Overall the mix balances nostalgia and dancefloor polish, making it a concise snapshot of late-2000s funky house and disco-house remix culture.
