Funky House 2016: Destination Boogie, Disco Soul House Cuts

Funky House mix from 2016 built as a sun-ready set of disco, soul and R&B folded into house grooves. Destination Boogie aims to put funk back in your step with extended and club mixes that lean on classic disco textures while keeping a contemporary dancefloor focus. Highlights include DJ Dan & Ido’s That Sound, Alex Kenji’s Fire (Disco Mix) and Sandy Rivera’s So Good, with J Paul Getto’s What U Want offering a classic-leaning turn. A cheeky Dimitri From Paris remix of Alex Newell with Jess Glynne and Nile Rodgers supplies a glossy nod to pop-disco, while modern club cuts from Redondo, Cid and Throttle add weight and momentum. At roughly 84 minutes the set balances soulful vocals and groove-first instrumentals for an easygoing, summer-ready ride.
