Funky House: Beach House 2012 · Disco & NuDisco Mix

Funky house Beach House 2012 is a summer-ready mix built for poolside and seaside listening, pairing disco reworks with contemporary nu-disco and house originals. This 2012 edition continues a series the host has released since 2007 and runs about 78 minutes of breezy, danceable grooves. Highlights include a DJ Meme rework of Frankie Knuckles pres. Director's Cut's You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real), a DJ HiTretz take on Donna Summer, and a StoneBridge house mix of Inaya Day Allstars featuring Crystal Waters. The set also dips into modern disco-house from Robin Parris, a Gary Caos remix of Serebro, and a club-ready cut from Dr. Kucho! & Funky Truckerz, balancing nostalgia and contemporary production without becoming predictable. If you follow the Beach House lineage, this edition stays true to the theme: relaxed, funky, and crafted for warm-weather listening. The host notes more Summer Edition mixes are in the works, so consider this a seasonal appetizer for poolside playlists.
