Funky House Beach House 2K14: Volume 2

This is a Funky House Beach House mix from 2014, Volume 2 — a sun-ready set that moves from warm vocal slow-burners into peak-time disco-house energy. The sequence opens mellow with a balearic vocal and steadily builds through fresh remixes and revived classics, designed for weekend listening and poolside afternoons. Highlights include Sam Smith’s Stay With Me in a Soul Clap Balearic take and Duke Dumont’s I Got U turned over to MK’s club touch, both used to steer the set’s momentum. Block & Crown’s filtered-disco remake of “New York City Girls” and a Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries revamp of Madison Avenue’s “Don’t Call Me Baby” nod to classic source material while keeping a modern groove. Mark Knight’s darker club cut and the Party Favorz edit of Frankie Knuckles’ extended mix of Michael Jackson’s “Love Never Felt So Good” provide peak moments before the mix winds into deeper late-set territory. Clocking in around an hour and a half, Beach House 2K14 v2 balances polished edits with disco-house warmth for summer DJ sets and laid-back listening.
