Funky House: Decompression Pt. 2 (2015)

This Funky House mix, Decompression Pt. 2 (2015), is a deliberate unwind—meant to reset the mood after a long week with deep, groovy and dance-ready selections. Party Favorz stitches together laid-back house, funky edits, and a few peak-time remixes so the set feels relaxed without losing momentum. Highlights steer between warm textures and club energy: Dosem’s remix of NY’s Finest opens the vibe, Claptone reframes Roisin Murphy’s “Evil Eyes,” and Todd Terry’s club mix pumps new life into Robyn & La Bagatelle feat. Magique. Michael Calfan’s take on Duke Dumont’s “Ocean Drive” and David Morales’ club touch add classic house polish, while The Shapeshifters deliver a roomy rework of NoNoNo’s “Pumpin Blood.” At roughly 81 minutes, the mix favors groove and flow over nonstop peaks—an ideal soundtrack for decompressing at home or easing into a night out.
