Funky House & Deep House 2015: Decompression pt. 1

This funky house / deep house mix from 2015, Decompression pt. 1, was assembled as a roughly 81-minute reset — a mid-length set intended to shake off stress and restore a groove. The selection moves between vocal-forward house and deeper instrumental pockets while keeping the tempo warm and club-ready. Highlights include Superlover’s “Love Machine” and the throwback vocal energy of DJ Dan & Diva Danielle’s “I Got A Man,” with darker club edges from Technasia & Green Velvet’s “Suga.” Reworks and remixes add texture: Bingo Players’ French Fried take on Mystery Skulls featuring Brandy & Nile Rodgers and Claptone’s remix of Disclosure’s “Omen” provide classy reimagining, while Sandy Rivera supplies soulful, housey ballast later in the set. Press play for a thoughtful, groove-focused hour that favors steady momentum over flash.
