Funky House Fall 2023 Mix: Good Life, Soulful NuDisco Extended Set

Funky House, Fall 2023 — this Good Life mix collects soulful and NuDisco-leaning house cuts curated for late-summer dance floors and long drives. Party Favorz blends vintage and modern flavors, opening with Birdee & Dr Packer’s sultry “You Know I’m Ready” before dropping an extended take on Inner City’s classic “Good Life” to bridge eras of house music. The set moves between disco-inflected Funky House and bigger-room moments, with standout turns from Danny Tenaglia & Cevin Fisher’s “Move That Body” and Mochakk’s revival of Loleatta Holloway’s vocal spirit on “Jealous.” You’ll also hear modern reworkings and nods to the past from Mark Knight, Sgt Slick & Beverley Knight’s “I Wanna Be Your Lover” and Purple Disco Machine’s remix of Wamdue Project’s “King Of My Castle.” Clocking in around two and a half hours, the mix features additional highlights from David Penn, Mousse T. and Ultra Nate for a cohesive, dance-ready playlist.
