Funky House: House Sessions Nov. 2k15 Pt. 1

This 2015 Funky House / Deep House installment of the House Sessions series delivers the first of two extended club-ready mixes designed to close out the season. The set leans into deep house’s mainstream crossover while keeping funk-forward grooves and DJ-friendly extended mixes front and center, and it runs unapologetically over 80 minutes. Highlights include ZHU’s Automatic (Suraci Extended Mix), Disclosure’s Magnets (A‑Trak Remix), an Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank rework (Win & Woo x Kiso Remix), and fresh takes like Ultra Nate’s Free 2015 (Slim Tim Remix) and Snakehips’ All My Friends (99 Souls Club Mix). The selection balances melodic deep textures, vocal hooks, and unexpected remix choices that work equally well in headphones or on a dancefloor. This mix was hand-curated through multiple pass-throughs to land the right flow; expect smooth transitions and a few surprises. Part 2 follows tomorrow, rounding out a two-part house session for late 2015.
