Funky House Mix 2012: Funky Disco House Shit

Funky House mix from 2012 built for pool parties, rooftops, and late-night dancefloors. This set stitches classic disco loops to contemporary club production, balancing exclusive mashups and fresh remixes to keep the groove warm and danceable. Highlights include the Alex Kenji vs. Musique mashup of Kaskade & Skrillex’s “Lick The Bush,” John Julius Knight’s Pete Heller vs. JJK rework of “Save (Big Love),” and Crazibiza’s “Take Control.” Seamus Haji & Cevin Fisher’s “I Love The Music” gets a Manuel De La Mare and Alex Kenji makeover, while Ralphi Rosario & Xaviera Gold return with the DJ Chus & David Penn remix of “You Used To Hold Me 2012.” Joey Negro and other disco-leaning edits round out an 80-minute journey of soulful vocals, funky basslines, and peak-time house edits. This mix is dedicated to Donna Summer and nods to other departed disco voices, honoring that legacy while pressing onward into modern funky house territory.
