Funky House Mix: Grade A House (2012 Vocal & Disco Cuts)

Funky House set Grade A House (2012) serves up vocal house, disco-tinged grooves and a few left-field choices aimed at weekend dancefloors and focused listening. This road-tested mix leans more on belted vocals and club-ready remixes than filtered disco, keeping energy high without sacrificing musicality. Highlights include Mancini’s pumped Lose Control (eSQUIRE remix), the Garrett & Ojelay rework of Chris Kaeser/Stonebridge/Krista Richards’ Love Me, and a playful mash in the Deadmau5 vs. Billy Newton-Davis Crazibiza Vocal Mix. The Shapeshifters’ remix of Something Good and the Soul Avengerz take on This Time Baby keep the vocal momentum, while the Soul Seekerz remix of Amerie’s 1 Thing adds familiar pop-house heft. Overall the set balances singalong moments with club polish for a reliable, listener-friendly hour of Grade A house.
