Funky House: Living in the City (2017 Winter Set)

Funky house mix Living in the City (2017) was assembled as a Winter Music Conference weekend companion and White Party warm-up. This set leans into disco-inflected house and modern edits while keeping a soulful, dancefloor-ready backbone perfect for late-winter club nights. Highlights include Full Intention’s remix work, Fatboy Slim’s 12" mix, Jamiroquai reworked by Purple Disco Machine, and Blondie’s Eric Kupper disco remix. The mix also serves up a Division 4 take on Black Box featuring Martha Wash, Claptone’s house-minded spin on Din Daa Daa, and fresh originals from Simioli vs. Jonk and Tête De La Course & Paul Rudder. The playlist balances vintage vocal moments and percussion with contemporary funky-house production for a varied, party-focused flow that bridges disco heritage and current club taste.
