Funky House Pool Party 2017: Summer Disco & Nu-Disco Mix

This is a 2017 Funky House Pool Party mix—the summer-ready evolution of the Beach House series—designed for open-air sets and poolside vibes. The set focuses on disco-tinged house and nu-disco grooves arranged for cohesive flow, keeping energy steady while letting each track breathe. Highlights land with David Penn’s groove-forward "Yeah Yeah," Illyus & Barrientos’ sunlit "Takin' Over," and the tension-filled club pop of CamelPhat & Elderbrook’s "Cola." Classic disco nods from Joey Negro and Dimitri From Paris sit comfortably alongside modern funk cuts like Purple Disco Machine’s "Body Funk," plus a handful of remixes and edits that nudge tracks toward the dancefloor. Running just under two hours, Pool Party 2017 aims to move bodies without sacrificing DJ-friendly sequencing, making it a practical, crowd-aware set for summer gatherings and long daytime parties.
