Funky House Summer Throwback 2023: Old School Reimagined

Funky House Summer Throwback 2023 collects sun-ready reworks of 80s dance, 90s house and early‑00s grooves into a nearly five‑hour party mix meant for pools, BBQs and daytime sets. This Summer Throwback edition leans on contemporary funky house production to reinterpret classic hooks and vocal moments while keeping DJ-friendly energy throughout. The set highlights a heavy serving of Block & Crown originals and collaborations, with standout cuts from Ghostbusterz, Richard Grey, Nari & Steve Tosi, Disco Gurls and Ministry Of Funk. Expect extended club mixes, nu‑disco flips and bright remixes that preserve familiar melodies but push them through modern grooves. Curated and trimmed from an initial six‑hour marathon of picks, this release favors flow and longevity—tracks chosen for mixability and summer vibe rather than novelty. Play it loud on a sunny day and enjoy the warm reinterpretations.
