Funky House: T-Dance Edition 2010 Volume 2: Take 3

Funky House — T‑Dance Edition 2010 Volume 2: Take 3 is a 2010 OTH installment built for warm, vocal-forward dancefloors. This take runs just under 80 minutes of funky house and disco-leaning club cuts intended to keep momentum across a weekend set. The mix opens with WhiteNoize’s Burnin and moves through Rod Carrillo & Ronnie Sumrall’s Rhythm (The Grower Dirty Disco Club Mix) before dropping deeper moments like Roy Davis Jr.’s Muthafunkaz 12" vox. Remix highlights include Riva Starr’s rework of Arthur Baker, Joey Negro’s Disco Blend and Fred Falke’s Club Mix, which together balance classic disco textures with contemporary production. DJs and listeners who favor soulful vocal hooks and groove-heavy transitions will find plenty to cue, with the set favoring dancefloor-ready edits over single-track showpieces. Enjoy the flow and the select vocal turns that keep the energy human while the bassline does the work.
