Funky House: YoYo Dissco (2024 Reopening Mix)

Funky House returns with YoYo Dissco (2024), a grand reopening mix that stitches Disco House, Nu Disco, and classic Funky House into one continuous club-ready session. This episode is meant to restart the series for Party Favorz’s 17th year, opening on gospel-tinged energy from Barbara Tucker and moving through contemporary reworks and throwback moments to reset the dancefloor mood. Highlights include Wolfram & Josh Ludlow’s YoYo Disco in a Purple Disco Machine extended remix, a Dave Lee re-blend of Jamiroquai’s Little L, and a fresh replay of Fish Go Deep feat. Tracey K via the Idris Elba extended remix of The Cure & The Cause. You’ll also hear club cuts from Mark Knight & Armand Van Helden and Michael Gray’s take on Raw Silk, plus a string of mashups and roof-raisers that keep familiarity feeling new. Everything here was mixed in one take and mastered using a boosted preset, so expect a slightly louder, more compressed sound. If you prefer the previous dynamics, the producer welcomes feedback as he lines up the next Club Fusion episode.
