Funky House Disco: House Sessions 2.15 (2015)

Funky house, disco, and classic club grooves headline House Sessions 2.15 (2015), a warmup mix meant to cut through winter gloom and send you thinking about margaritas and sunshine. This installment leans into disco-infused house and soulful vocal cuts, assembled to lift the mood and keep the floor moving for about an hour and twenty minutes. Expect familiar names and fresh reworks: David Morales presents The Face with Kym Mazelle’s “Lovin’” (Disko Mix), Sister Sledge’s “Lost In Music” through a Dimitri From Paris remix, and a Purple Disco Machine rework of Hercules & Love Affair’s “Do You Feel The Same.” Club-ready edits from John Stoongard (Gianni Bini Rootsy Vocal Rework), UMEK & Mike Vale (Dosem Remix), and a Lucas & Steve take on Rockefeller’s “Do It 2 Nite” round out a set that balances disco nostalgia with modern house polish. It’s a sunny, danceable sequence designed to chase away the cold.
