Even if you’re a diehard Gilmore Girls lover, a few episodes are painful. And this is one. Today we analyze “Super Cool Party People” from season 6 - the infamous birthday party of April Nardini - and the reasons we skip it. 

Even the awesome moments (Rory tells off Mitchum!) and unforgettable pop culture references (Pretty in Pink! Bonne Bell lip smackers!) can’t save this episode. Luke pushes Lorelai away, Rory weirdly shoulders a burden that isn’t hers, and Anna Nardini… well, is Anna.
