Ep 58. Flora & Reflections from Blue Mountain Lake

11 min29 maj 2022

We recently hiked Blue Mountain Lake, part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, filled with flora and reflections of what once was and what may come if redesignated as a national park.

There's irony in the glorious beauty amid the sadness of homes lost due to the Tocks Island Dam debacle in the 1950s.

And there's a lesson; we merely borrow the land on which we live. And hopefully, take respectful care of it while we do.
