16: The Death of Janis Joplin: Part 1

We discuss Janis Joplin's last days in Hollywood and at the Landmark Motor Hotel (now the Highland Gardens Hotel). Recorded on location in Room #105 where she died on October 4th, 1970.  Parts 2 & 3 will be a visit to Barney's Beanery, the last place she went before going to her hotel for the last time. We have interviews with the hotel staff, Rebecca's mom who met Janis, a musical celebration, and finally, a medium "reads" the room.
