Today on Gilmore To Read, I have Adrienne Young, author of Reading Is Sexy's October pick Spells For Forgetting! We talk about how the process of writing very atmospheric, deeply emotional books is a lot like creating a coloring book for the reader. A major plot twist for me in this episode was just how much Adrienne loves Gilmore Girls. She includes Gilmore Girls in her nighttime routine and hosted a Stars Hollow themed watch party for the Gilmore Girls revival, so she's absolutely one of us. Plus, we talk about how Stars Hollow influenced Spells For Forgetting and how none of her characters are villains: they're all just human. I loved this book so much and loved its author even more!
