Gilmore To Read: Riss M Neilson Wrote Rory & Tristan Fanfic Before She Wrote A Bestseller

Welcome back to Gilmore To Read! This month, I'm talking to Riss M Neilson, the author of Reading Is Sexy's July pick A Love Like The Sun. She's the author of two young adult novels, now an adult romance and a lover of Gilmore Girls just like you! In this episode, we talk about writing young adult versus adult romance, how fanfiction can shape an author, what her teenage daughter thinks about the show (cue mother/daughter sweetness!!!) and of course why she wrote such a hot male lead in the midst of a chronically ill heroine's journey. I hope you enjoy, book besties! The next episode will feature Jessica Joyce talking about her newest release, The Ex Vows, which is Reading Is Sexy's pick for August.
