72 \\ What is Inner Work, Anyway? | An Invitation to True Freedom & Why Most People Are Terrified By It

We often focus extensively on results and outcomes.  Many times these are what drive us--the $$$, the partner, the magazine cover, the business increase, the following, the...you get the idea, but remember, you bring you with you.  In other words if you're a workaholic now and your business increases, who will you be then?  If you met the partner tomorrow and still have your inner life in shambles, then what?  If you get the exposure and the accolades and you haven't been delivered from people pleasing and the fear of man, what will happen to you?  You bringing you into the next level, the new thing is designed to blow your mind in the best ways, but if you aren't being you, being honest with you and doing your inner work with all diligence, that new thing could crush you.  Is it time to prioritize your inner work?
