In June of 2021, a New Jersey native settled into her Airbnb chef job outside of Joshua Tree, California after traveling cross-country with her boyfriend. But one hot afternoon, she supposedly walked away and seemingly vanished. Months later, her remains were found nearby, and it left a slew of questions. This is the story of Lauren Cho.
