When you hear the word demons, you most likely think of red, supernatural figures with horns and pitch forks, or at least, if you do, you're not alone. Here's the thing: nowhere does the Bible describe demons like that. Furthermore, we often talk of demons as fallen angels, but (spoiler alert), you're going to be hard-pressed to find that idea in the Bible as well. The truth is, a lot of what we believe about demons doesn't come from the Bible, and some of it flatly contradicts the Bible. This is what Dr. Michael Heiser and I discuss in this interview. So, what does the Bible teach about demons? Moreover, how should we allow belief in demons to affect our lives? If all this talk of demons sounds crazy to you, don't worry, we talk about that too.
