Grab Bag: The Beatitudes
Our next installment of our summer series, “Grab Bag,” draws our attention to a series of “blessings” Jesus pronounces in the Gospel of Matthew. Known as “The Beatitudes,” these blessings are announced to people in unlikely situations - we don’t often feel blessed when mourning, hungry, or persecuted, for example. What is Jesus doing with these blessings? What do they teach us about Jesus’s vision for the world? Josh explores this and more in this week's message!
