Supporting Scripture: Romans 10:9
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
John 3:16 offers the promise: "...whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". This supporting scripture clarifies what that belief entails: declaring Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. This confession prepares the heart for being in the presence of Almighty God.

- What does it look like for my life to reflect the declaration that "Jesus is Lord" during the pressures of the holidays?
- How can the confidence that I am saved strengthen me to initiate the conversation about Christ with loved ones?
