It's the first in a new series, and it's just in time for the spooky season!
David and Eric take their first step into the world of movies, which will become a semi-regular series looking at movies and documentaries that embrace the DIY ethos of punk and hardcore, or are universally loved in the scene.
This first one is a bit of an outlier, in John Carpenter's Halloween. They take a look at the film itself, as well as some of the punk and hardcore bands inspired by the slasher/horror film genre.
Covering bands like The Misfits, AFI, and Ice Nine Kills, David and Eric also discuss the odd world of Christian Horror Punk, with The Deadlines. Just how is a song inspired by Night of The Living Dead, also a song about Jesus (besides the obvious 'back from the dead' business).
