We talk Sam Goody, Musicland, Strawberries Records & Tapes, Newbury Comics, and the record-store guys who could hear one random lyric, flip through a bin, and know exactly what you were looking for. Plus, RadioShack, Circuit City, Egghead, walkie-talkies, police scanners, and the people who knew how all of it worked. We also talk Natural Wonders, the Discovery Channel Store, Warner Bros. Studio Store, Brookstone, Sharper Image, and Spencer Gifts… complete with the back room, purple lights, lava lamps and T-shirts.
