What's Coming This Fall? Bible Study 101, Luke and Acts | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

This is a bonus behind the scenes episode where I share what's changing on Hearing Jesus. We wrap up the Psalm series, look ahead to Bible Study 101 and then Luke and Acts taught together as one story, and I explain why I started my own podcast network. I also share an update on spiritual direction and a couple of family prayer requests.

Questions this episode answers

Why study Luke and Acts together?

Luke and Acts were written by the same author as a two part work, and both are addressed to Theophilus. They were separated when the New Testament books were arranged. Reading them side by side lets you follow the story from the life of Jesus straight into the birth of the church.

What is Bible Study 101?

It is a short foundational series, less than a month long, on the why and how of studying the Bible on your own. The goal is for you to depend less on any teacher and more on your own relationship with the Lord. Daily Scripture is still woven through it.

Is Rachael still offering spiritual direction?

Not in one on one sessions anymore. The same teaching is available as a self paced course called Knowing Jesus at rachaelgroll.com.
