What Does Creation Teach Me About God's Love? (Psalm 104) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

Psalm 104 is a beautiful meditation on the creation story, written from the other side of the fall. Today we look at the parallels to Genesis 1 and how they show God's love for us. We can be encouraged that our Creator still cares for His creation, including you.

"I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being." (Psalm 104:33)

Questions this episode answers

How is Psalm 104 connected to Genesis 1?

Psalm 104 follows much of the order of the creation week, from light and the heavens to the waters, the land, the plants, and the animals. It celebrates God not only as the one who made everything but as the one who keeps caring for it. It turns the creation account into a song of praise.

What does creation show us about God?

Creation shows God's wisdom, power, and generous care, as Psalm 104:24 says, in wisdom You have made them all. He feeds the animals, waters the earth, and renews the face of the ground. If He cares for creation this well, He cares for you.

How should I respond to God as Creator?

Psalm 104 ends with a promise to sing to the Lord for as long as we live. Our response is worship, gratitude, and trust. Taking time to notice creation can become a daily reminder of His love.
