How Do I Keep Faith When God Feels Silent? (Psalm 105) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

It can be hard to have faith when it feels like God is silent. Psalm 105 calls us to look back at the ways God has been faithful throughout our lives. Today we talk about how remembering can give us the faith we need to keep moving forward in hard seasons.

"Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples." (Psalm 105:1)

Questions this episode answers

What is Psalm 105 about?

Psalm 105 is a song of thanks that retells God's faithfulness from Abraham through Joseph, Moses, and the Exodus. It shows God keeping His promises across generations. It invites us to remember His works and tell others about them.

What should I do when God seems silent?

Psalm 105 tells us to remember the wonders He has done. Looking back at how God has worked in Scripture and in your own life strengthens your trust for today. His silence does not mean He has stopped working.

Why does remembering matter so much in the Bible?

God often told His people to remember because we forget so easily. Remembering His past faithfulness builds faith for what we can't see yet. Psalm 105:5 says, remember His wonders which He has done.
