Om avsnittet

Ever since the Psalms were written, God's people who stand for what is right have faced evil in the world. Today we echo David's prayer in Psalm 12 and find our encouragement in God's truth.

"The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times." (Psalm 12:6)

Questions this episode answers

What is Psalm 12 about?

Psalm 12 is David's cry for help in a world full of lies and flattery. He contrasts the empty words of people with the pure words of the Lord.

Why are God's words compared to silver?

Silver refined seven times is pure, with nothing false mixed in. God's words are completely trustworthy, unlike the words of people who deceive.

How can I stay faithful when it feels like the godly are few?

Hold tightly to God's Word and pray like David did. God promises to protect the needy and keep His people.
