Can God Restore What the Enemy Tried to Steal? (Psalm 125-126) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

Today we study Psalm 125 and 126 together because they paint such a clear picture of how God restores His people after a hard season. We won't be fully restored until heaven, but there is real joy in knowing God can work in the places the enemy tried to steal. I pray this episode gives you hope.

"Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting." (Psalm 126:5)

Questions this episode answers

What is Psalm 126 about?

Psalm 126 remembers when the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion and His people were filled with laughter and joy. Then it asks God to do it again. It promises that those who sow in tears will reap with joy.

What does Psalm 125 say about those who trust in God?

Psalm 125 says those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved. Just as mountains surround Jerusalem, the Lord surrounds His people. It is a picture of steady security in God.

Will God restore my life after a difficult season?

God is a restorer, and Scripture shows Him bringing joy after sorrow again and again. Some restoration happens in this life, and full restoration comes in eternity. We can trust Him with both.
