How Does God Rescue Us When We Feel Helpless? (Psalm 18, Part 2) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Om avsnittet
Today in part 2 of Psalm 18, we look at how David saw God's hand at work when he felt helpless in battle. The God we meet in the Psalms is the same God we serve today, and He is still a God who rescues.
"He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me." (Psalm 18:19)
Questions this episode answers
What does Psalm 18 say about God rescuing David?
David describes God reaching down from on high and drawing him out of many waters. He says God rescued him because He delighted in him.
Is the God of the Psalms the same God today?
Yes. Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The God who rescued David still hears and helps His people.
What should I do when I feel helpless?
Cry out to God the way David did. Tell Him plainly what you are facing and ask for His help, trusting that He is near.
