How Do I Thank God After He Brings Me Through a Battle? (Psalm 21) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Om avsnittet
Today we read Psalm 21, the praise song that follows the prayer of Psalm 20. We look at why thanking God after the battle helps us remember He is with us when the next one comes.
"Be exalted, O LORD, in Your strength; We will sing and praise Your power." (Psalm 21:13)
Questions this episode answers
What is Psalm 21 about?
Psalm 21 is a song of thanks for the victory God gave the king. It pairs with Psalm 20, which is the prayer before the battle. Together they show us how to pray before a hard season and how to praise God after it.
Why should we praise God after He answers prayer?
Praise helps us remember what God has done. When the next trial comes, those memories remind us that He has been faithful before and will be again.
How are Psalm 20 and Psalm 21 connected?
Many Bible teachers read them as companion psalms. Psalm 20 asks God for help before the fight, and Psalm 21 thanks Him once the help has come.
