Why Do Evil People Seem to Win? (Psalm 37) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Om avsnittet
These days it's easy to get discouraged watching evil seem to thrive. Today we look to Psalm 37, where God speaks to this very thing. We have a God of justice who sees everything, and this Psalm shows us how to respond when it feels like the wrong team is winning.
"Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)
Questions this episode answers
What does Psalm 37 say about evil people?
Psalm 37 tells us not to fret because of evildoers, since their success won't last (Psalm 37:1-2). God sees what is happening and will bring justice in His time. Our part is to trust Him and keep doing good.
What does 'delight yourself in the Lord' mean?
To delight in the Lord is to find our deepest joy in Him. As we do, our desires start to line up with His. Psalm 37:4 isn't a formula for getting what we want; it's a promise that God satisfies hearts that seek Him.
