Does the Old Testament Call Us to Share the Gospel? (Psalm 67) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Om avsnittet
Many of us know the call to share the gospel from the New Testament, but we can miss a similar call in the Psalms. Today we look at God's heart for the nations in Psalm 67. We also look at the Great Commission and the part we play in sharing the hope of the gospel with people around us.
"God be gracious to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us, That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations." (Psalm 67:1-2)
Questions this episode answers
What is Psalm 67 about?
Psalm 67 asks God to bless His people so that His ways will be known among all nations. It shows that God's blessing has a purpose beyond us. The psalm ends with the hope that all the ends of the earth will fear Him.
How does Psalm 67 connect to the Great Commission?
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus sends His followers to make disciples of all nations. Psalm 67 shows God already had a heart for the nations long before that. The Great Commission continues the same story.
How can I share the gospel in my everyday life?
Start by praying for the people around you. Share how God has worked in your life when you have the chance. God blesses us so that we can point others to Him.
