How Do I Praise God While I Am Still Waiting? (Psalm 70) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Om avsnittet
As believers we live in the tension of praising God while longing for Him to move. Today we study Psalm 70, where David cries out for rescue and still declares God's goodness. His example encourages us to wait well.
"Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, 'Let God be magnified.'" (Psalm 70:4)
Questions this episode answers
What is Psalm 70 about?
Psalm 70 is a short, urgent prayer from David asking God to hurry to help him. It closely matches the end of Psalm 40. Even in his urgency, David calls those who seek God to rejoice.
How can I praise God when He hasn't answered yet?
Praise is based on who God is, not only on what we see right now. Psalm 70 shows David asking for help and praising God in the same breath. Both can be true at once.
What does it mean to wait well?
Waiting well means staying honest with God, trusting His character, and continuing to seek Him. It is not passive. It is active faith that keeps looking to Him for help.
