Is God Bigger Than My Impossible Situation? (Psalm 76) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

Today's psalm is a song of praise for what God did for the people of Judah. When we learn God's character and nature from Scripture, it helps us understand who He is today. When you are up against impossible circumstances, remember that our God is the God of the impossible.

"You are resplendent, More majestic than the mountains of prey." (Psalm 76:4)

Questions this episode answers

What is Psalm 76 about?

Psalm 76 celebrates God's victory on behalf of His people in Judah and Jerusalem. It describes Him breaking the weapons of war and bringing judgment. It invites us to honor Him because of His power.

How does knowing God's character help me today?

God does not change, so what He showed in Scripture is still true of Him now. When we see His power and care for His people in the Bible, we can trust Him with our own situations. Studying His Word builds that trust.

How can I trust God in an impossible situation?

Remember what He has done before, both in Scripture and in your own life. Bring your need to Him in prayer and praise Him for who He is. Praise shifts our focus from the size of the problem to the greatness of God.
