What Do I Do When God Feels Silent? (Psalm 77) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Om avsnittet
Today we walk through Psalm 77 and talk about what to do when it feels like God has gone silent. It is a normal human experience to pray hard and still feel like God isn't there. This psalm shows us how to walk through those seasons.
"You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the peoples." (Psalm 77:14)
Questions this episode answers
Is it normal to feel like God is silent?
Yes. Many faithful people in Scripture felt this way, including Asaph in Psalm 77. Feeling distant from God does not mean He has left you.
How does Psalm 77 help when God feels far away?
The psalmist moves from asking hard questions to remembering what God has done. He thinks back on God's wonders and how He led His people through the sea. Remembering God's past faithfulness gives us strength for today.
What can I do in a season of unanswered prayer?
Keep praying, and keep reading Scripture. Write down ways God has been faithful before, and share your struggle with trusted believers. God is still at work even when we cannot see it.
