What is the hope of the gospel?

The gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins and rose again so we can be forgiven and made new. Its hope is that sin and death don't get the final word. Because of Jesus, we have a living hope (1 Peter 1:3).

How does Jesus bring light into darkness?

Jesus called Himself the Light of the World and promised that those who follow Him will not walk in darkness (John 8:12). He brings truth where there were lies and healing where there was hurt. No place in our lives is too dark for Him to reach.
