Does God Really Love Me? The Love Languages of God | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

In this Valentine's bonus episode from my series on the love languages of God, we ask a simple question: do you believe God loves you? We look at words of affirmation, gifts, quality time, physical touch, and acts of service, and how each one helps us see and receive His love in everyday life.

Questions this episode answers

How do I know God loves me?

The clearest proof is the cross. Romans 5:8 says God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

What are the love languages of God?

It is a way of looking at how God expresses love: through His words, His gifts, His presence, His nearness, and His acts of service. Scripture shows God loving us in each of these ways, most fully in Jesus.

Why is it hard to believe God loves me?

Past hurt, guilt, or disappointment can make His love feel distant. Time in Scripture helps us trust what God says about us over what we feel.
