Space is full of stuff: Gas, dust, rock, more gas, more rock. But there is one region of the universe that is so empty, so completely void of matter, light, or detectable energy, that cosmologists refer to it as The Great Nothing.
At 330 million light years across, astronomers expect to see thousands of galaxies swirling around, but The Bootes Void has about sixty.
Why is this region of space so empty? Is it proof of the multiverse? Did an alien vacuum out all the stuff? Is it Tom Cruise's fault? Lindsey is here to answer all of these questions and more. She's also here to talk about her weird roommate.
