You heard it here first - Ellie's taking a break from drinking. After a heavy weekend, she's knocking it in the head and having a sober weekend. You'll have to come back again next week though to hear whether she sticks to it or not.
They also offer some advice to a listener who is struggling to get through to her daughter and get her out of a bad relationship. Charleen takes a literal page out of her mothers book by suggesting that the listener write a letter to her daughter like her mam did.
