But seriously, they talk about the challenge of being a Christian wife who seeks to adorn herself by being submissive to her husband (1 Pet. 3:5).  Marital submission is lovely, but it is often difficult. Like climbing on the back of a tandem bike, a woman's role in marriage requires effort and coordination.

They discuss the difficult marriage (as referenced in 1 Pet. 3:1-2), as well as the more typical Christian marriage between an average Christian woman who expects much from her average Christian man doing his best. They also ask whether it's better to submit in full agreement, or to submit despite disagreement.
