109: Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me

Episode 9 is the midseason finale, the moment the flashforward finally collides with the present. Everything that happened on Night X is revealed: Rebecca breaks into the house to prove Sam killed Lila (subtlety be damned), Sam is confirmed as a literal strangler, and Michaela sends him over the railing… which is how he dies. Until he doesn’t. Connor gets fully backhanded across the room, fake blood is everywhere, and by the end, we finally learn what the trophy is actually for. We think. 

Matt and Jack break down how sets pull off fake blood and forced perspective, how Jack had to throw up as Connor (and the one time it actually happened as himself on set), and how these kids never got the memo that you don’t return to a crime scene. Plus, a few Lord of the Rings detours, Frank finally breaks up with his girlfriend, and the episode closes on the reveal that Wes and Annalise have been in cahoots. Still slaps.
