This is your Week 27 Igbo language practice session from Igbo Daily Drops — 15 sentences learnt over the past week in Igbo daily drops,  built for real-life use. Commands, requests, questions, and the kind of warm, human phrases that make the difference between knowing a language and living in it.

Work through each sentence at your own pace. You will hear it once, then again — then it is your turn. 

The Igbo sentences we learnt this week are :

A ga m amụta Igbo — I will learn Igbo 

A ga m ekwu okwu — I will speak 

Gịnị ka ị ga-eme? — What will you do? 

Ebee ka unu ga-aga? — Where will you all go? 

Anyị ga agakọ ọnụ. — We will go together. 

A ga m anya moto. — I will drive/take a vehicle. 

Ha ga-abịa ịleta anyị echi — They will come to visit us tomorrow 

Anyị ga-eri nri — We will eat food 

Gịnị ka unu ga-aṅụ? — What will you all drink? 

Mmiri a ga-adị? — Will there be water? 

A ga m enwe nwanne. — I will have a sibling. 

A ga m enwe ego. — I will have money. 

Anyị ga-ahụ ọzọ — We will see again 

Ha ga-abịa echi — They will come tomorrow 

Anyị ga-aga ahịa echi — We will go to the market tomorrow
