This is your Week 30 Igbo language practice session from Igbo Daily Drops — 15 sentences learnt over the past week in Igbo daily drops,  built for real-life use. Commands, requests, questions, and the kind of warm, human phrases that make the difference between knowing a language and living in it.

Work through each sentence at your own pace. You will hear it once, then again — then it is your turn. 

The Igbo sentences we learnt this week are :

M ga-akwụ gị ụgwọ- I will pay you

Ha ga-akwụ m ụgwọ n'izu ụka na-abịa - They will pay me next week

M ga-enye gị change - I will give you change

Anyị ga-azụ ji ise - We will buy five yams.

Ị ga-ebelata aka n'ego? - Will you come down on the price?

Anyị ga-akpa echi - We will settle/ discuss it tomorrow.

Kedu mgbe ị ga-eweta ya? - When will you bring it?

M ga-eweta ya n'anyasị. - I will bring it in the evening.

Anyị ga-anata ozi. - We will receive the message.

Ọ bụ na ị gaghị ebelata ego? - Will you not reduce the money?

Ha agaghị akwụ ụgwọ echi. - They will not pay tomorrow.

Ọ gaghị enwe stock. - S/he will not have stock.

M ga-abịa ahịa echi. - I will come to market tomorrow.

M ga-akwụghachi gị ego gị. - I will pay you back your money.

Agaghị m atụ ụjọ. - I will not be afraid.
